Welcome! Here’s a few things to know about me.

1. My Day Job.

I serve as the Family Ministries Pastor at Lifepoint Church in Lewis Center, OH (near Columbus). Lifepoint exists to help people draw life from God and point others to Him.

Fun Fact: In 2018, Outreach Magazine named Lifepoint as one of the fastest growing churches in America.

2. Family Ministries.

Families play a HUGE role in shaping who we are and what matters to us. Did you know that your worldview was mostly shaped by the time you were 13 years old?

Families face challenges and hurdles frequently. I want to be a resource and encouragement to families (especially parents). So I’ll look for opportunities to do that on here.

PS: Parenting is a really hard job. My wonderful wife and I have two kiddos of our own. If you’re a parent, make sure you download the Family Framework. This resource was written for the families of Lifepoint. However — the principles in this booklet are for every family. Make sure you check it out.

3. Posts.

From time to time I’ll also post on broader topics, including my personal thoughts on leadership, media, current events, etc.

Speaking of leadership, I’m currently working on a project for emerging leaders. More info about that is coming soon.

4. Just so we’re clear.

Feel free to leave comments and give feedback on my posts. However, please do the following:

  1. Keep it clean and calm.
  2. If you disagree with something I post, that’s cool. But let’s agree to all share our opinions with thoughtfulness and respect.
  3. If you can’t handle these requests then I reserve the right to delete your comments.
